I graduated with a BS in Accounting, which then led me to get my license as a certified public accountant (CPA). I spent over twenty-five years in exploring the various forms of how to make accounting work for me. Along the way I got certified in massage therapy, certified as a yoga teacher and jumped into Vipassana meditation as a way to find balance in my career. As someone who always used their body as a way to get out of my head, Somatic Psychology was the missing piece to the puzzle. I went on to get my Masters of Arts in Somatic Psychotherapy and was drawn to therapy approaches that focused on healing from trauma. I went on to build my clinical experience and training through the Center for Somatic Psychology and Levis Therapy (culturally attuned EMDR therapy) where I continued to work with adults and couples who have survived some form of trauma in their lives.
